Eesha Rebba has been getting several good offers of late and has already earned a good name in Telugu films. While not many Telugu actresses are doing lead roles in Tollywood, Eesha is working very hard to showcase her talent.

“I genuinely don’t know why filmmakers are not choosing Telugu girls, but I am happy about my career and the fact that I am getting good work,” says Eesha, who is playing the female lead in Brand Babu directed by Prabhakar.

“I am playing a servant maid in this film and it’s a full-length comedy,” she says, adding that Maruthi provided the story. “When Maruthi narrated the story to me, I liked it very much, especially since his stories are so entertaining,” she says.

The actress certainly prepared for her part. “I observed my servant maid and how she works at my home. While I did my bit of homework, director Prabhakar also helped me a lot,” she shares.

Eesha is paired opposite Sailendra, who is making his debut in Telugu. Talking about her co-star, she says, “He did a few Kannada films and is an experienced actor. And although this is his first Telugu film, he prepared his dialogues well.”

The story of the film apparently revolves around a servant maid and a family. “The family is obsessed with branded items and whatever they do, they look for the brand first, so how a servant maid falls in love with a rich guy forms the story,” narrates Eesha.

The actress has also got a good break opposite Jr NTR in the Trivikram Srinivas film. “Yes, it’s a very good and important project for me. Right from the very first day, the environment was refreshingly different. Jr NTR is very friendly and it’s been nice working with him,” says Eesha, who has also signed another film opposite Sumanth.

The actress says that she is working hard and earning a good name for all her films. “I have to first prove to myself that I am talented and confident, then only people will approach me for their projects,” says the actress, on why Telugu girls are not getting big film offers.

Interestingly, her earlier film Awe got critical acclaim following which she got many offers. “Yes, I got several offers, but I have to connect with the story first. I’m not choosy, but when they narrate my role to me, I have to connect at least 90 per cent, then only I do the film,” says Eesha.

Like many others, she admits to feeling nervous before her film release. “When I do a project, I expect a lot and stay positive, but it is the audience who finally decides the film’s fate. So, one day before the release, I can’t sleep and feel very nervous,” she says, sharing that she watches all kind of movies in her spare time.
