Mahesh Babu wax statue unveiled!

In a marked departure from their usual routine, world famous Madame Tussauds unveiled Mahesh Babu’s wax statue at AMB Cinemas in Hyderabad on Monday. The superstar’s wife Namrata, their two kids and Sunil Narang of AMB Cinemas were present at the event.

“Yes, this is the first time we unveiled a statue outside Singapore, because Mahesh Babu is a superstar in India and we wanted to showcase it to all his fans here. We will take it back to Singapore after displaying it here for a day,” confirms Alex from Madame Tussauds.

The first actor from South India to make it among the legends of Indian cinema in Singapore’s Wax Museum, Mahesh Babu exults, “I have heard so much about it and it’s a world renowned attraction. For me, it’s an honour to join the other Indian celebrities.”

Alex reveals that nearly 200 measurements of Mahesh Babu were taken for all the details! “It was amazing and their attention to detail is meticulous,” says Mahesh Babu.
