RX 100 gets lapped up by Bollywood!

The recent Telugu hit RX 100 is all set to be remade in Hindi, with the remake rights fetching a decent price.

A source confirms, “Sajid Nadiadwala bought the rights for Rs 1.50 crore, although it is not known who will play the lead yet.” The Telugu version was helmed by debutant director Ajay Bhupathi on a budget of Rs 2.5 crore, with Karthikeya and Payal Rajput as the lead pair. Even though it was a small film, it went on to become a huge success and earned profits of nearly Rs 13 to 17 crore.

“The producer is keen to rope in a prominent actor for the lead role in the Hindi version,” adds the source.
