Speaking for the first time about a collaboration between Karan Johar and his son Akhil, actor Nagarjuna says, “Karan and Akhil are good friends and Karan wants to introduce Akhil to Hindi films. But I told him to wait for some more time,” adding, “I told Karan to first make a Telugu film and remake it in Hindi if it becomes a hit,” says Nag, recalling that he too was introduced into Hindi films with a remake of his Telugu hit film Siva.

The veteran actor adds, “Though Karan has been persistent, I want Akhil to learn the craft here so he will be prepared when he goes to B’wood.”

Nagarjuna also reveals that Nani, his co-star in Devadas, is addicted to his phone. “He is with his mobile most of the time. It’s like a disease, and he asked me how to break free of the addiction,” says Nag, adding, “Not just Nani, most people are addicted to their mobiles, such that they forget their surroundings.”
When asked about the secret behind his still youthful looks, Nagarjuna says, “Even though I’m 59, I think I am only 25 and that’s how it’s been since the last 30 years.”
