Vijay Deverekonda ruffles feathers!

Vijay Deverekonda recently posted a still from upcoming film Mahanati, and described Savithri (on whom the biopic is being made) as a ‘cool chick’. Soon, film buffs on Twitter took offence and asked him to apologise for using such words for the legendary actress.

However, refusing to bow down to their demands, Vijay asked all the fans who wanted an apology to  attend the film’s music launch in Chennai so that Savithri would feel glad.

He also added, “I think she (Savithri) would have been super happy to be called “a cool chick” out of admiration rather than a homewrecker and alcoholic (sic).
