Chitra Shukla to work with Raj Tarun

Actor Raj Tarun, who’s been shooting for a film produced by Annapurna Studios, has been joined by Ma Abbayi actress Chitra Shukla, who will play the female lead in his upcoming film with debutante director Ranjani.

“The makers were in search for a fresh face and she fit the bill perfectly. She’s got quite an interesting characterisation in the film,” reveals a source. Ranjani is a former associate of director Gautham Menon and had earlier narrated the same script to Naga Chaitanya.

Nagarjuna apparently took a liking to the script and suggested Raj Tarun’s name for the same. He’s producing the film under his home banner.
