Puri Jagannadh springs a surprise

Director Puri Jagannadh is well-known for pulling pranks and surprises on his sets. This time around, the filmmaker has surprised everyone by announcing a short film, Hug. A concept poster was recently released by the director himself.

The four-minute video was apparently shot in Portugal, during the making of his last film, Paisa Vasool. Talk about hitting two birds with one stone!

According to sources, the director intended to shoot a message-oriented film and send it to a few foreign film festivals while working on location for Paisa Vasool.

Sandeep Chowta composed the music for Puri’s short video, Junaidh Siddiqui edited it and Anil Paduri handled the visual effects. Puri’s short film is slated to be released on December 31.
