Kiara Advani in Arjun Reddy remake

After her impressive portrayal as Vasumathi in Mahesh Babu-starrer Bharat Ane Nenu, Kiara Advani has bagged another feather in her cap! She has been roped in as female lead in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film, Arjun Reddy, directed by Sandeep Vanga, the filmmaker who helmed the original. 

After actress Tara Sutaria backed out from the project, the makers had to look for a replacement. They believed Kiara would perfectly fit the bill for her part.  
A source close to the film unit shares, “When the film’s director Sandeep Vanga approached her for the role, Kiara instantly jumped on the bandwagon! The actress is all kicked to play the part, and will join the sets of the film soon.”
