Neha Shetty in Puri Jagannadhi's film

Puri Jagannadh, who has launched several new faces in the tinsel town, is set to launch another girl. Neha Shetty of Mungaru Male 2 fame has been roped in to play the leading lady in his forthcoming film. The Kannada actress will be paired opposite his son, Aakash, in the action-drama. Apparently, the director had to audition over 200 girls before zeroing on the Miss Mangaluru pageant winner.

“Neha had auditioned for her role and impressed Puri Jagannadh. After a trail photo shoot and a look test, she has been finalised as the lead actress,” informs a source.

The former model is currently prepping up for her role. She is taking classes to learn the Telugu diction and also shedding kilos to fit her part.
