Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna.

Going by an interview given by Balayya some time ago, Chiranjeevi and he are the best of friends. Now, comes this news involving the two. Balakrishna had approached Amitabh Bachchan first for his film Rythu, to be directed by Krishna Vamsi. Both the director and actor met the superstar in Mumbai when he was shooting for RGV’s Sarkar 3. But Amitabh didn’t confirm his dates, citing busy schedules and a lack of dates for the film. In fact, the film was almost shelved because Amitabh said ‘no’.

But when Balayya's friend, Chiranjeevi approached Amitabh for a role in his upcoming film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the Hindi superstar said ‘yes’. This was officially confirmed by Chiru’s team at the recent launch of the film’s motion poster.

So, does accepting Chiru’s film and saying 'no' to Balayya mean that the Hindi superstar did not like Bala-krishna’s script? Rumour mills seem to suggest so.
