Puri Jagannadh hopes Balakrishna will bail him out
The director wants to do a film with the actor to recover his losses on Mehbooba.
Mehbooba’s colossal failure at the box office has dealt Puri Jagannadh a massive blow. The director, who is said to have mortgaged some of his properties in order to release the film, is now hoping that close friend Balakrishna will help him recover his losses.
Puri and Balakrishna became good friends during the making of the film Paisa Vasool. In fact, it was Balakrishna who decided the muhurat for the launch of Mehbooba, and Puri has even thanked him in the credits of the film. Now, the director wants to cash-in on that friendship.
“After Paisa Vasool, Balakrishna announced that he wanted to do another film with Puri. He may agree to do that film to bail Puri out,” a source reveals.
The actor has already agreed to do a film with C. Kalyan to help him recover his losses, and he may do the same for Puri as well.
