Censor Board finally clears Babu Baga Busy

After facing quite a few problems from the Censor Board, Babu Baga Busy, a remake of Hindi adult comedy Hunterrr, was finally cleared. The Censor officer initially didn’t agree to clear the film as he felt that it had a lot of adult content. “But the director argued with him and even showed him the Hindi film, which was cleared by the Mumbai Censor Board. The official argued that Hindi and regional audiences are completely different, and that he wanted to chop a few scenes. The director then showed how he had already reduced the scenes as per the native sensibilities, and finally, the film was cleared,” says a source from the production house. Avasarala Srinivasa plays the lead actor, while Supriya, Tejaswi, Mishty and Sri Mukhi are the female leads. The film is slated for release on May 5.
