Venkatesh, Puri Jagannadh advance their films

Many filmmakers are attempting to release their films in the slots available between the two big releases of 2017 — Baahubali: The Conclusion and Katamarayudu. Venkatesh, whose Guru was initially scheduled for an April 7 release, has now advanced the film to March 31. The actor has started promoting the film as he released the trailer and even visited a couple of colleges in Hyderabad recently. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and Venky seems confident that it will be a hit. Meanwhile, Puri Jagannadh is also releasing his film Rogue on March 29, on occasion of Ugadi, as he wants to cash in on the festive mood. He is introducing Ishaan, with this film, to the Telugu audiences and releasing it in Kannada too. Several other releases have also been lined up before Baahubali: The Conclusion, which will occupy all the theatres in both the Telugu states.
