Rakul Preet Singh in Shankar’s next film
The actress is paired opposite Siddharth in Kamal Haasan’s Bharateeyudu 2.
Actress Rakul Preet Singh seems to be having a great year! After the super success of De De Pyar De, the actress has signed exciting projects like Manmadhudu 2 and Nithiin’s untitled film in Telugu.
She has also apparently signed on another happening project titled Bharateeyudu 2 (Indian 2) to be helmed by hotshot director Shankar. The Kamal Haasan-starrer will be rolling out soon and Rakul is expected to join the sets in August. However, the actress will be paired opposite actor Siddharth, who plays a meaty role in the action drama.
A source informs, “Director Shankar believes that Rakul fits the role to the T. When he narrated the script to her, she loved her portrayal which was very strong, and instantly gave the nod.” Kajal will also be playing a pivotal role in the action drama.
