Kanam will hit the right notes

Sai Pallavi and Naga Shaurya’s forthcoming film Kanam, which touches upon the sensitive issue of abortion, is set for a May 27 release. The movie is being directed by A.L. Vijay. Speaking about the film, Sai Pallavi said, “It is an intense subject and focuses on the bond between a mother and her four-year-old daughter. I play a mother and it was such a mature and a strong role that I even decided to dub for my part. I’m sure that the film will hit the right notes after release.”
