For the first time, the entire Telugu film industry has responded as one for a cause.
As shootings and cinema theatres have all been shut down to avoid crowds, most of the celebrities have decided to use this time on social media.
From newer names such as Raj Tarun to big ones such as Mahesh, Pawan, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh, many have taken to social media to create awareness about the “Janata Curfew” and coronavirus.
Some of the celebrities have even gone “Live” on their Instagram Stories, engaging with their fans, explaining to them why they need to stay home through the curfew.
The celebrities have all been appealing to the public to stay home for a few days in their fight against the virus.
Lakshmi Manchu started a “Live” conversation, followed one after another by Kajal, Rakul Preet, Eesha Rebba, Anasuya, Niharika, Sudheer Babu, and Rana. Some of them even went “Live” for half an hour, engaging their audiences till 8.30 pm.
