Actress Isha Talwar will be seen as a mom again in her forthcoming Malayalam film Detroit Crossing. The Raja Cheyyi Vesthe actress, who is currently shooting for a Telugu film opposite Rahul Ravindran, will play a mother to a 16-year-old in the crime thriller, directed by Nirmal Sahadev.

“I had no apprehensions playing a mother because I always believe in versatility.   I play the mother of a teenage rebellious daughter and I had a great time shooting for it in the US,” says Isha, who says that she did not find any difficulty in playing her part.

“The 16-year-old who is from Canada, called me mom on the sets too and I got used to it (smiles). I know how to get into a mom’s role because I have an 8-year-old niece, so I could play my part easily,” she says.

Isha adds that working with Prithviraj has been an amazing experience. “I have always wanted to work with him. And when the opportunity came, I didn’t want to let it go,” she reveals, adding, “He is one of the finest co-stars I have ever worked with. He’s composed on the sets and quick to give suggestions when needed.”
