Mahanati to get the Jr NTR touch?

The biopic of actress Savitri, Mahanati, has been getting bigger by the day. Many well known actors have been roped in to play key roles and the shoot of the film is presently in progress. Meanwhile, there is some speculation surrounding important characters like NTR and ANR and the actors who would be playing them.

The buzz is that the role of NTR could be reprised by his very own grandson, Jr NTR himself! “The film’s producer Swapna Dutt and NTR are good friends. While no concrete talks have been initiated yet, the former did suggest to the actor that she’d love it if he could play a cameo in the film. How things pan out will depend on the shoot schedule and many other factors which will be decided eventually,” reveals a source. While things are still in a very nascent stage, it would surely be a delight to watch the junior play his legendary grandfather.
