Puri Jagannath to direct Ram Pothineni
This time, Puri has completely focussed on his script.
Puri Jagannath has been out of form for a few years now. Now, the beleaguered director is looking for a star to help revive his slacking career, and has approached Ram Pothineni for his next project.
Informs a source, “Ram liked the script and has agreed to do it. Moreover, Puri Jagan has depicted his protagonist differently, and so Ram has decided to go ahead with it.” Puri Jagan is also known to complete his films in a relatively short span of time. “Ram wanted to do this project before he started his next film with director Ajay Bhupathi,” adds the source.
This time, Puri has completely focussed on his script. “It’s a typical commercial action-packed film, but shot in Puri’s style,” says the source. Charmme will be handling the production, while Sravanthi Ravi Kishore will be producing it along with Puri Jagan.
