Senior actress Jayasudha has worked in the film industry for nearly four decades now. As she nears 60, she wants to wants to relax a bit.

Actress Jayasudha after ruling the South for more than two decades as a lead actress, continues to work as a character artiste. The actress, who enters her 60s this December, says, “Yes, it’s been a very long journey for me and I have not taken any break. Now that I am nearing 60, I have decided to reduce my films.”

Jayasudha recently completed her shoots for Srinivasa Kalyanam and yet another film directed by Mani Ratnam. The actress adds, “I have decided to only take up projects in Hyderabad or Chennai. I stay here in Hyderabad, and many of my friends and relatives are in Chennai, so both cities are comfortable for me.”

Apart from these two films, the actress has also signed the Mahesh Babu-Paidipalli Vamsi film. “The shooting has not yet started and I am going to join the team in Hyderabad soon,” informs Jayasudha, who is also starring in another film with Naveen (Naresh’s son) playing the lead actor. “Naresh is my relative and they are like my family, so I am doing Naveen’s film,” she shares.
