We learnt that for the last few days, director, Srikanth Addala, had been filming intense action sequences in Theri Kaadu, Tirunelveli, the Red Desert of Tamil Nadu, for his upcoming film, Narappa.

Vijay Donkada, the film’s executive producer, also added that fight master Peter Heins oversaw the action episodes.

Speaking to us, Peter Heins said that the shooting for the action sequence at the Red Desert went on for 10 days. “The action scenes shot in this area, which is spread over 12,000 acres, will be a major highlight in the action drama,” he adds.

He went on to add that Naarappa, the character on which the movie is based, is a powerful and emotional one, and ventured that the audiences will witness a new and different Venkatesh in the film.

Naarappa is an official remake of the Tamil blockbuster Asuran.
