Renu Desai returns to the silver screen

Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife Renu Desai is all set to stage a comeback to Tollywood with an important role in Tiger, directed by Vamsi Krishna of Dongata fame. Apparently, Renu, who was last seen in Johnny in 2003, was approached for a pivotal role in the film that happens to be the biopic of dreaded robber Tiger Nageswara Rao from Stuartpuram. Renu, who has been active on the small screen and also producing films, liked her character and believed that the role would be an ideal comeback for her in Tollywood.

A source informs, “Renu Desai was approached for the part and given the script narration. She was impressed with the way director Vamsi Krishna etched her role and the script. While she has agreed in principle to come on board, the remaining modalities are being worked out.”

Starring Bellamkonda Srinivas, the film will go on the floors soon.
