Model-turned-actress Tuya Chakravarthy will make her Telugu debut soon
Hailing from Kolkata, former model Tuya Chakravarthy is all set to make her Tollywood debut with 4 Letters, directed by R. Raghuraj. Interestingly, Tuya has already acted in Bengali movies and given several theatre performances before making her debut here. Talking about her role, the actress says, “I play a young and timid student who is afraid of everything.
But her character transforms after falling in love. It was challenging for me but I was able to pull it off because of the director’s training and workshops. I was able to perform well since my role had a lot of depth.” Tuya states that working for the film has been an enriching experience. “I have also got to learn about the language (Telugu). Although I was new to it, my team helped me with the lines,” she explains, adding, “Working for the film has been a learning experience. I got to learn more about the craft and the process of filmmaking.”
