Brahmaji’s tweet lands him in soup

Character actor Brahmaji has deleted his Twitter account after the flak he got for his tongue-in-cheek tweet. 

During the recent rains, Hyderabad city was flooded, Brahmaji’s house was flooded too. “When I returned home, my street was filled with water, I realised I can’t go in my car. So I requested an apartment watchman to park my car and me and my wife started walking. My basement was filled with water too. So as a joke I tweeted ‘Planning to buy a boat, please advise’,” explained the actor.

Many netizens didnt get the humour, they felt the actor was being insensitive when the city was suffering. Annoyed with the angry reactions, Bramhaji said he will quit Twitter! 

Brahmaji also appreciated the efforts of the Telangana government for working round the clock amidst the havoc caused by rains.
