Digangana Suryavanshi to play a TV journalist
It’s a sports movie, starring Gopichand in the lead.
Digangana Suryavanshi, who made her Telugu debut with the film Hippi, has now signed another one. The actress is paired opposite Gopichand in the movie directed by Sampath Nandi.
According to a source, Nandi was impressed with her performance in Hippi, and roped her in for his venture. The new film is a sports drama in which Gopichand plays a hockey coach and Digangana, a TV journalist, says the source. Shooting is in progress at Moinabad.
The unit is gushing about director Sampath writing on the sets even while shooting is going on, according to the source.
“His earlier film Gautham Nanda, with Gopichand, didn’t do well at the box office. But the director has joined hands with the same actor once again, and this time he is very confident. It is a powerful script,” the source adds.
