Venky and Rana in a web series?

Venkatesh and his nephew Rana Daggubati are acting together, not in a film, but in a web series.

According to a source, “The web series will be screened across India and they are planning to hire a director from Bollywood.”

Many filmmakers are seeing the OTT platform as the future, from the present perspective. 

“Venkatesh wants to do a web series for an OTT through which he can reach the national audience and that’s why he agreed to do it with Rana,” said the source close to the actor.

Rana had announced earlier that the script for both of them to act together was ready, but didn’t provide details of the crew and other members of the cast. An official announcement is awaited in this regard.
