Nivetha to join the sets of Paagal

Nivetha Pethuraj, known for her suave looks and fine performances in the handful of films she has done so far, has signed on for another film, Paagal. The Chitralahari star will be paired with Vishwaksen in the romantic entertainer, which also stars Simran Choudhary.

Talking about her casting, the film’s director Naresh Kuppili says that he zeroed in on Nivetha on the basis of her performance in earlier films.

“I have seen Nivetha’s earlier films, and she’s a performer. But in this film, I will showcase her in a completely new light,” he says, adding that the film is a love story.

“The film will be intense and has a contemporary theme. The best part of the story will be the drama that surrounds the principal cast. The film will have its twists and turns too,” he explains, adding that Nivetha will join the sets of the film in a couple of days in Puducherry.
