When Aadi Pudipeddi first heard the script of the Telugu film, Jungle, he was instantly hooked on the plotline and the genre. “I have done a film in the horror-comedy genre, but Jungle is a complete horror film, which I had not explored. We stayed true to the script and the genre. There’s a well-thought-out story complete with emotions and a plot with elements of mystery,” explains Aadi about the Vignesh Karthik directorial.

“I play a Cardiologist. Jungle is about a couple on a trekking holiday getting entangled in unexpected incidents,” Aadi says.

The actor says he is glad to debut in Tamil with this film. “We shot all the scenes twice (in Telugu and Tamil), so that was a bit challenging. But since my schooling was in Chennai, picking up the Tamil idioms wasn’t difficult,” he shares. The Prema Kavali star may have done youthful roles so far, but he insists that he doesn’t like to get stereotyped. “Sometimes having no specific image for an actor is of great help. I want to do all genres and show versatility. After all, an actor wants to explore various roles,” Aadi concludes.
