Hitherto, we have seen Nandini Rai in girl-next-door and chirpy roles. Now, for the first time, she will be seen grooving for a special number in the Telugu film, Kothi Kommachi, directed by National Award-winner, Satish Vegesna.

The actress has started shooting for the rustic number which is being shot in the picturesque locales of Amalapuram shortly.

“I’m thrilled at the opportunity; more so, because it is my maiden special number. It’s a mass and folk song on the lines of Aa Re Pritam Pyaare from the film, Rowdy Rathore, and I can’t wait to showcase my superfast dance moves to the audience,” says Nandini, describing the opportunity as ‘a perfect Diwali gift’.

The actress says she was fascinated with the concept and theme of the song. “The lyrics and tunes are so catchy; there will be around 40 dancers grooving alongside me. And dancing with both the heroes (Meghamsh Srihari and Sam Vegesna) is fun,” says Nandini adding that her outfits would stand out in the song.

“My costumes are desi, and perfectly complement the mood of the song. We will shoot the number during the nights on huge sets,” she says.
