Rakul Preet Singh walks out of a movie

Rakul Preet Singh, who was missing in action in Kollywood after Yennamo Yedho, had signed Thupparivalan opposite Vishal. But the actress had to walk out of the film citing date issues. This decision has raised many eyebrows as she turned down the film after Akshara Haasan was brought on board.

Speaking on the issue, Rakul says, “Yes, the news is true. I had to back out as I am currently busy with five projects — with Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Sai Dharam Tej, Naga Chaitanya and Boyapati Srinu. I signed Thupparivaalan in February and it was supposed to start in June. Since it got delayed, I couldn’t go ahead with the film. Even if I decide to adjust my schedule and shoot day and night, I can’t squeeze in a sixth film.”
