Taapsee Pannu to star in Mishan Impossible

Director Swaroop R.S.J. picked a detective thriller set in Nellore for his debut film Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, and it was hailed as a blockbuster. Now, he is planning a bounty hunting film interestingly titled Mishan Impossible.

We have reliably learnt that the director has roped in Taapsee Pannu for the female-centric drama set in Tirupati. Apparently, Swaroop was impressed by Taapsee’s riveting performances in some of her earlier films. The film will be a unique narrative on bounty hunters with the storyline interspersed with humour.

The director felt Taapsee, who chooses interesting roles, will be apt for the part. When he narrated the story to her early this year, the actress was more than pleased to headline a film, according to a source.

 “The riveting screenplay struck the right chord with the actress,” the source reveals. The pre-production is nearing completion and, if all goes well, the production house, Matinee Entertainments, will commence shooting in July.
