Kabir Duhan Singh couldn’t stop raving about his experience of sharing the screen with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film, Bole Chudiyan. “It was a beautiful experience working with Nawazuddin, he is like an acting school. He appreciated my work. When someone of such calibre praises you, it gives you crazy confidence,” shares Kabir, adding that there are several theatre actors in the cast of the Shamas Siddiqui directorial in which he plays the parallel lead.
“The best aspect of shooting with such actors is that it changes your approach to filmmaking. You start to see it from a different perspective and try to be as natural as possible, and it brings out the best in you,” says Kabir.
The Saakshyam actor says he bonded big time with Nawazuddin. “We used to work out together; he also shared his experiences at the Oscars, Cannes, etc. Listening to his life journey has been insightful and inspiring. It was like a book,” adds Kabir. Meanwhile, Kabir is excited about plans to resume shooting for his Telugu film Maha Prasthanam.
