Nithiin’s comic best
Nithiin’s role in Bheeshma will present the actor at his comic best.
Actor Nithiin’s much-awaited film, Bheeshma, was formally launched in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Directed by Venky Kudumula, the film is bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi.
Talking about the film, Venky said it unveils Nithiin’s comic side. “Bheeshma will act as a brand ambassador for everybody who is single. That, in fact, is what the film is predominantly about — singledom — and Nithiin will be seen at his comic best in it. We have penned his characterisation in a manner that it is high on comic quotient. At the same time, however, we have also tried to explore another angle in him,” he explained.
The film features Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role. “I have worked with Rashmika in Chalo, and she has this uncanny knack of slipping into any role with great ease. So I decided to cast her in this film too,” justifies Venky.
