Gul Panag to make Tollywood debut
The actress is likely to play sister to Nagarjuna in his next film
Nagarjuna’s forthcoming film under new-age filmmaker Praveen Sattaru is slowly looking like an ensemble cast. After Anikha Surendran, the filmmakers are on the verge of signing actress and social activist Gul Panag for a significant role in the action thriller.The filmmakers apparently wanted an ensemble cast from various industries for better reach as they believe the film’s story has a wide appeal.
Puskar Ram Mohan Rao, one of the film’s producers, who states that the team is excited to work with the actress, adds, “Talks have been on. It has been very positive so far. And hopefully, everything falls in place.” She was recently given a narration by the director, and the actress was apparently more than pleased to come on board.
An industry source tells us, “Gul Panag is expected to be seen in the role of a billionaire in the film, who plays the sister to the character Nagarjuna will enact. Her demeanour and body language perfectly suits the role of a billionaire. But the clincher for the actress to take up the role was the way her character has been designed and the graph it goes through in the film.”
