Nagarjuna, Sobhita in the eye of a storm!
Both the actors found themselves at the receiving end, after they got trolled by Mahesh Babu fans.
Mahesh Babu fans seem to have gone the way of PK fans, who are ready to troll anyone who ‘disrespects’ their idol, as actors Nagarjuna and Sobhita Dhulipala recently found out.
The trouble erupted after Nagarjuna attended a film event a few days ago, where he listed only Mahanati, Rangasthalam and Goodachari among this year’s hits without mentioning Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu, which was also a hit.
Nagarjuna was actually not completely off the mark. Compared to the other 3 films, Bharat Ane Nenu made only marginal profits. But soon after his omission, Mahesh Babu fans started trolling Nagarjuna on social media, even raking up how bad the collections of his dud film Officer were.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu recently tweeted that he liked the spy thriller Goodachari to which the film’s lead actress, Sobhita Dhulipala simply wrote, “Thank You.”
The superstar’s fans felt that her reply was an insult as she is a rank newcomer and that she ought to have added ‘Sir’, ‘garu’ or ‘superstar’ to her reply. Soon, they started trolling the actress too.
Interestingly, the fans are undeterred by the fact that Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu are actually good friends who regularly talk to one another about their films.
