Rakul Preet Singh gets 1 crore for NTR biopic
The actress plays the character of legendary actress Sridevi in a 20-minute appearance in the film.
The makers of the two-part NTR biopic are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that they have a hit on their hands. Apart from Balakrishna, who plays the lead role, they’ve roped in biggies like Rana, Vidya Balan, and Prakash Raj to play important parts.
Now, they’ve also got Rakul Preet Singh on board to play the legendary actress Sridevi, and rumour has it that the actress is charging them a whopping Rs 1 crore for the 20-minute part.
“A famous song from NTR’s film Vetagadu will be picturised on Rakul and Balakrishna. They’re also planning to shoot a few more songs from popular films like Bobbili Puli. Rakul may appear in part two of the biopic,” a source says, adding, “The makers want a big actress to play Sridevi, and they’re willing to pay for it.”
