Like everyone else, Satyadev has been waiting for the second wave of the pandemic to end so that he can resume his shootings. And like everyone else in the industry, he’s had to revisit his date diary before resuming shootings of his films. “Shooting schedules have gone haywire because of the second wave’s lockdown,” he explains, concerned.

Satyadev is understandably impatient to commence shooting for his two films, Gurthunda Seethakalam and Godse. “I’ve just commenced the dubbing for Gurthunda Seethakalam though the film isn’t complete yet. But the film unit wants to ensure we are ready by the time we resume our shoots,” he shares.
In addition to ensuring timelines, Satyadev also admits that getting on the dubbing etc. helps him to keep working on something especially because sitting idle makes him restless.

“I go insane when I am not on the sets,” he says with a chuckle. “If I don’t have work, my sanity levels go down.” All said and done, Satyadev is not starry-eyed about how things would be once the industry resumes shooting.

“The experience of shooting may not be the same anymore. But all of us need to work more hours to compensate for the time we’ve lost because of the lockdown,” he says. “Because the focus would then be on wrapping up the current films, we must also remember that many of us cannot take on more films,” comments the actor.
