Sunil to return to comedy for Jakkanna

After the debacle of his last release Krishnashtami, comedian Sunil has decided to focus on comedy for his upcoming film Jakkanna.

“In Jakkanna, the actor is going back to comedy. He knows audiences are badly expecting a comic act from him, so he is fully focused on it,” said a source close to the actor.

The film is slated for a July 22 release, the date when Rajnikanth-starrer Kabali will also hit theatres. Mannara Chopra plays the female lead in this film. The last song is being shot at the RFC, after which the production will be wrapped up.
