Despite the failure of Sapthagiri Express, director Arun Pawar and comedian Sapthagiri collaborated once again for their forthcoming film titled Vajrakavachadhara Govinda. “Well, I’ve learnt from my mistakes. I haven’t presented Saptagiri as a hero in this one. What the audience expects from him is comedy, and that’s what they’re going to get,” Arun said. “The story revolves around a diamond and a piece of armour, and Saptagiri will be seen as Govind in the film,” the director said in justification of the film’s name. “The film is essentially a comic narration of how Govind evolves from a thief into a righteous man who wants to save the village,” he added.

The director decided not to include action scenes or songs in the film. “Like I said earlier, I’ve learnt from my mistakes,” the director stressed, adding that he’s even roped in a number of Jabardust  show artistes to act in the film.
