Simrat Kaur is one of the female leads in the film, Dirty Hari. The actress says she opted to do the adult content film only because it is directed by M.S. Raju.

“I didn’t want to do any movies. But I had heard about Raju Sir. So, when I got a call from him, I thought I would listen to the script. I came to Hyderabad and found that the script was very good,” she says.

“Then I saw that there were a few kissing scenes. I said I was not really sure I could do those scenes,” reveals Simrat, adding that she had played a typical half-saree-clad South Indian girl in her earlier films.

“I told him that I want to talk to my mother about it. My mom said, ‘If you are into an acting career you need to accept whatever comes your way. Don’t think about what people will say, take acting as a religion and give it your best.’

“So I decided to do this role and the journey has been very beautiful,” she added. “M.S. Raju helped me immensely to get into character,” she shared.

Simrat is confident that everyone will love Jasmine, the role she plays in the film.
