Director Maruthi to direct Sharwanand
He wanted Allu Arjun and Vijay Deverakonda, but both actors had other commitments.
Director Maruthi is all set to direct Sharwanand again. After the debacle of Sailaja Reddy Alludu, the director wanted to direct Allu Arjun, but the actor decided to go with Trivikram Srinivas. Maruthi also tried to work with Vijay Deverakonda, but he is busy with many projects and will take time before he gives dates. So, Maruthi is now joining hands with actor Sharwanand for the second time. Both worked together earlier for the film Mahanubhavudu which was successful at the box office.
“Maruthi met Sharwanand and narrated a story which the actor liked and gave his green signal. The director is now working to complete the script,” says a source.
Sharwanand is currently doing a film with director Sudheer Varma, which is about 70 per cent complete and once that is over he will team up with Maruthi.
