Venkatesh to do Telugu remake of De De Pyar De

Producer Suresh Babu has acquired the rights to remake the recent Hindi release De De Pyaar De in Telugu and will be producing the film with Venkatesh in the lead role. Both Suresh and Venkatesh are of the opinion that Venky is the best choice for the role as the story revolves primarily around a 50-year-old. The (original) Hindi version of the film features Ajay Devgn in the male lead role while Rakul and Tabu are the female leads.

Venky is at present shooting for Venky Mama in Kashmir and will commence filming for the remake once done with the same. “Suresh Babu wants to tailor the film for the local audience, so he mostly will make a few changes in its script. Also, he’s going to announce the director soon,” the source added.
