At the pre-release function the forthcoming Sankranti release, Sarileru Neekevvaru, as Mahesh hoped everyone would enjoy his film, Allu Arjun (Bunny), whose upcoming film Ala Vaikuntapurramloo is also slated for the same period, smartly chose to play the gracious card.

Instead of hoping his fans enjoyed his film, the stylish star wished luck to all the Sankranti releases that hit the theatres then.

Now, the difference in both the stars’ wishes has left an awkward taste lingering about, leaving fans even “wondering” about Mahesh’s “etiquette”!

As with most topics in this day and age, this perceived difference, too, has become the trending topic on social media amongst the fans.

“Mahesh Babu should have wished all the films a success instead of just focusing only on his film. However, at a time when heroes are gracing the pre-release functions of other hero films, a few miscreants, on the pretext of fans, have been unnecessarily escalating tensions over the social media,” a source chips in.
