In fact they are still writing and shooting scenes for Ala Vaikunthapuramu lo. The climax is yet to be shot. The film is not getting the price that Allu wants. So they (Allu Arjun and his father) have decided to release it on their own in major exhibiting centres, informs a source.

Frantic  efforts  are  on to avoid  the  inevitable clash between  Mahesh Babu’s  Sarileru Neekevvaru' and Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramu lo. Although the  two  actors have agreed to release their respective films a day  apart  from  one  another, efforts are on to take one of the two Sankranti releases further away the festive release.

It seems  unlikely that either Mahesh Babu or Allu Arjun  will blink.

Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramu lo is already staring at a hugely over-budget product.

“In fact they are still writing and  shooting scenes  for  Ala Vaikunthapuramu lo. The climax is yet to be  shot. The film is not getting the price that Allu wants. So they (Allu Arjun and  his father) have decided to release  it  on their own in major exhibiting centres,” informs a source.

Also, contrary to their earlier claims  that they won’t access Ala Vaikunthapuramulo on the digital platform the producers have  now gone  and cut a 3-film deal with Netflix.

Clearly  the  big  clash  is affecting both the releases, as  they are making  larger and  larger efforts to  make their product more viewer-friendly. In the process the  budgets are  suffering.
