Nandamuri Balakrishna entered politics several years ago and was elected as MLA from Hindupur constituency. Even though he spends a lot of time serving the area, he also accepts most films that come his way.

The actor reveals that his main focus is films and that he is not aiming for a higher political post. “My father earlier represented Hindupur, and so I want to develop the constituency. I have rectified a few problems and there is a lot more to do. I want to concentrate on that and serve the party when needed. I am not keen on higher posts of a minister or chief minister as I want to concentrate on films,” he says.

Currently shooting for director K.S. Ravikumar’s film, the actor has a lot coming his way. “I agreed to do more films because many people’s livelihood is dependent on the industry,” says the actor.
