Cameo surprises!
Harish Shankar, director of the upcoming film Valmiki, has a few surprises up his sleeve, and actor Nithiin in a cameo role is just one of them.
Makers of Valmiki seem to be doing everything to ensure that the action drama garners enough attention around its release. After remixing a yesteryear’s super hit number recently, the filmmakers have now roped in actor Nithiin in a cameo role.
The backdrop for Valmiki is a film, and the film’s director Harish Shankar approached Nithiin to play a cameo, in the role of a hero. We are told that his appearance will be revealed towards the climax.
Nithiin and Harish Shankar are good friends, and it was his proximity to the filmmaker that made him agree to do the cameo.
“Harish has roped in not only Nithiin but also director Sukumar to play a cameo in Valmiki. Also, filmgoers can expect a few more surprises,” reveals a source.
A remake of Tamil dark comedy Jigarthanda, Valmiki is slated for release on September 20. Harish has tweaked the plotline to suit the sensibilities of the Telugu audience.
