Sahithi Chaganti eyeing a longer stint
DECCAN CHRONICLE | DC Correspondent
Sahithi Chaganti is one of the promising singers of the Tollywood. She crooned super hit numbers like Etthara Jenda (RRR), Laahe Laahe (Acharya), Jai Balayya (Akhanda), Adavi Thalli (Bheemla Nayak), etc.
The youngster recently launched her independent song (on her YouTube channel), Ee Kshanam. Directed by Pratheek Reddy, the musical has lyrics written by Sri Harsha Emani.
Sahithi is thrilled with the response for the five minute song. She is overwhelmed with all the love that’s being showered on her.
"It feels great when hard work is appreciated," she says, adding that Ee Kshanam is a song where the protagonist (Sahithi) goes through her daily grind of domestic chores yet advocates spending time in nature’s lap.
"I wanted to tell everyone to please take a moment to enjoy and be appreciative of the beautiful God's creation. And the same time show how women can also multi-task," the singer adds, explaining that the breezy number has soothing vocals and peppy tunes.
She says that her journey in the industry so far has been a roller coaster ride. Sahithi states that she’s slowly coming to understand the dynamics of the trade.
"I feel blessed to be working with top composers in the industry like Keeravani garu, Thaman garu, etc., at a very early stage of my career. The insights about the song and music I have learnt during my course of interactions with them have been very enriching," she explains.
Having sung several hit numbers, Sahithi is grateful for the opportunities she got. "But there’s still a long way to go. I’ve just started and I have been aspiring to sing various genre songs," she shares, adding that constant practise and hard work got her this far.
Having learnt a lot from various composers, Sahithi says that he is hoping for bigger and longer stint.
