The actress is clearly excited to shoot with the National-award winning director, Neelakanta

Richa Panai

Director Neelakanta will soon start working on his next film. While he has roped in Sai Ronak as the male lead, we hear he’s zeroed in on Richa Panai for the female lead. Talking about the project, an excited Richa tells us that she’s looking forward to working with the National-award winning director.

“I’ve watched Neelakanta sir’s films and I think he shoots very artistically,” states Richa, adding that she’d met the filmmaker earlier too. “He perhaps thought I’d be better suited for this film. I’ve been waiting to work with such a director and I hope to learn from him during this collaboration.”

Without giving out much about the story or her role in the film, Richa reveals that she’d be playing a modern girl in it. “I loved the characterisation of my role. And I was on board after a look test was done,” adds Richa.

As we end our interaction, Richa tells us how surreal it feels to her that this film will be her first project post the pandemic’s second wave. “I wrapped up shooting for a film post the first wave; hopefully, we will wrap up this one’s shooting with all the crew safely back too,” shares the Eedu Gold Ehe actress.
