Anasuya goes missing
Anusuya does not attend Meeku Matrame Chepta’s media interaction after its release, and the world’s back to speculating.
All’s not well in paradise after all. A day or so after we’d reported that Anusuya and the Arjun Reddy actor Vijay Deverakonda had buried their differences Anusuya was missing in action (MIA) during Meeku Matrame Chepta’s promotional event held at a preview theatre in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Interestingly, the entire team, including producer Vijay Deverakonda, was in attendance at the event and Anusuya was conspicuous by her absence. Many at the event enquired about why Anasuya hadn’t turned up at the event.
We had previously reported that the popular anchor and actress had done rigorous promotions before the film’s release; she had even showed up alongside Vijay for one of those. But her absence from the Saturday’s event, the first after the film’s release, has got tongues wagging again.
“The team visited a few theatres on Friday and it seems they hadn’t invited Anasuya for it. The anchor was hurt for being ignored and she even left the film team’s WhatsApp group. That’s why she didn’t turn up for the event on Saturday morning,” says a source.
