Pink remake goes to Sriram Venu
Starring Pawan Kalyan, the courtroom drama will be produced by Dil Raju
Ever since Pawan Kalyan decided to remake the hugely successful Bollywood courtroom drama Pink, fans have been waiting to know who’d helm it. Now reliable sources tell us that it will be director Sriram Venu, fresh from the super success of MCA, which starred Nani.
Pawan, who was looking for someone with good directorial skills and sensibilities to helm the remake of Pink, chose Venu as he is convinced that the director can do complete justice to the script. A source informs, “The work with regards to the story is underway. Dil Raju will be bankrolling the film, which will be presented by Boney Kapoor.”

Contrary to rumours that Sriram Venu’s forthcoming film, Icon, starring Allu Arjun, has been shelved, we have learnt that the film will take off when Venu wraps up the above remake and Allu Arjun completes his untitled film with Sukumar.
